At 42mm the Rolex Explorer II is one of the largest cases currently produced by Rolex. The case is made out of 904L steel. The watch has a Sapphire crystal on the front and a solid case back on the rear, in classic Rolex style. The attractive bezel has a brushed finish and a modern looking font. One of the most visually enticing features of the Explorer II is the orange 24-hour hand and the orange "EXPLORER II" text printed on the dial. It stands out against the black dial, and catches the eye. The date on the watch is enlarged by the cyclops attached to the sapphire crystal. At night, the watch is just as easy to read because of the use of Chromalight that is applied to all hour indices and hands. The Explorer II comes with the COSC manufacture 3187 movement with a bidirectional self-winding rotor.

This timepiece has undergone a thorough inspection of water resistance, accuracy, functionality and condition to determine the level of reconditioning required to meet our strict standards. It has also been referenced against technical documents and manufacturer records where available to ensure authenticity and a clean history.
