The "Panamerican black" dial, with hollowed-out brown subdials and ringed by an inner bezel in the same brown color, is the product of Breitling”s sophisticated "par épargne" process applied to a silver base.

Its bidirectional ratcheted rotating bezel ensures smooth and easy handling of the famous circular aviation slide rule.
