IWC GST Aquatimer IW3536 01

This is a titanium IWC Aquatimer GST 2000 IW353601. It has a stainless titanium IWC link bracelet with a folding deployment buckle and a scratch resistant sapphire crystal. It includes a large signed screw down winding crown and a screw down solid case back engraved with "INTERNATIONAL WATCH CO. – SCHAFFHAUSEN," with a high relief depiction of a submarine. The 42mm barrel-shaped solid two-body case, slightly downturned lugs, and flat black knurled rotating unidirectional bezel with a raised Arabic numeral and baton elapsed time scale with a luminous pip at the 60-minute position, are polished/brushed. The dial is black with luminous applied rectangular titanium hour markers and yellow luminous indices at 12 o”clock, surrounded by a luminous white perimeter minute/second scale, and luminous baton yellow hour and minute hands with a center sweep second hand. There is a date aperture window at 3 o”clock and it has a 42-hour power reserve at full winding. It”s water resistant to 2000 meters/6,300 feet, and the 14,5mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This IWC Aquatimer GST 2000 IW353601 has a mechanical automatic self-winding IWC caliber 37524 (based on the ETA caliber 2892-A2) movement that”s rhodium-plated and constructed with 21 jewels, and a straight-line lever escapement. It has a monometallic balance adjusted for heat, cold, and 5 positions. Included are a shock absorber system, and a self-compensating flat balance spring. The mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4Hz). The IWC Aquatimer GST 2000 IW353601 was introduced in 1998 as the sports dive watch of the GST collection for professional and industrial deep divers. It was produced until 2004.
