The Omega Speedmaster model reference 3518.50.00 was issued in a limited edition of 6,000 pieces to commemorate Michael Schumacher””s first world driver””s championship for Ferrari in the year 2000. 4,000 units had a black dial while the remaining 2,000, reference 3517.50.00 came with a white dial. Based on the Speedmaster Reduced model and powered by a self-winding Omega calibre 3220 movement with rhodium-plated finish, it offered a power reserve of 40 hours. The carbon dial featured red and orange chequered flag markings around the edge and the word "Racing" above the hour sub dial at 6 o””clock. Its caseback is engraved with the 7-time world champion””s name and signature in company with the edition number and legend bearing the title World Champion 2000.
