The Rolex Deepsea Sea-Dweller D Blue ref 126660 pays tribute to James Cameron's extreme diving achievement. A staggering and bulky 44mm in diameter, this piece is not for the faint hearted. Similar to the original Sea Dweller Deep Sea in black, this model's gradient blue/black dial mimics an ocean dive from shallow to deep. Rolex 904L hardened steel, 5mm sapphire crystal, Cerachrom black ceramic bezel and Helium escape valve (that operates like a miniature decompression chamber), are essential requirements for super deep dives. The Deepsea is fitted with an Oyster bracelet equipped with the clever Glidelock system to increase the bracelet length. The clever ring-lock system and titanium case-back combined with all the aforementioned factors, gives this piece a massive 3900m depth rating. The Rolex Deepsea has the maxi-dial style face with white gold hands and hour markers as well as that fantastic blue-color lume.
