Crafted from corrosion-resistant 904L Oystersteel, this iconic timepiece is powered by the COSC-certified Calibre 3186 movement, offering a 48-hour power reserve and the ability to track three separate time zones. With its sporty Oyster bracelet and 100-meter water resistance, it remains one of the most coveted discontinued references in the Rolex catalog.
The Rolex GMT-Master II Reference 116710BLNR marked a historic milestone upon its 2013 debut as the first Rolex to feature a single-piece, two-tone ceramic bezel. This “Batman” bezel uses a patented Cerachrom material that is virtually scratch-proof and resistant to UV fading, with the blue representing daylight and black representing night hours for intuitive GMT tracking. The 40mm Oyster case is built with a “Super Case” profile, featuring robust lugs and a Triplock screw-down crown that ensures waterproofness to 100 metres (330 feet).
Inside, the watch is driven by the Rolex Calibre 3186, a self-winding mechanical movement equipped with a Parachrom hairspring for superior resistance to shocks and temperature variations. The movement allows the local hour hand to be adjusted independently in one-hour increments without stopping the second or minute hands, making it an essential tool for international travel. The black lacquer dial provides exceptional legibility through its Chromalight display, which emits a long-lasting blue glow in dark environments.
This specific reference is exclusively paired with the Oyster bracelet, featuring polished centre links that add a touch of elegance to its tool-watch heritage. The bracelet is secured by a folding Oysterlock safety clasp and includes the Easylink 5mm comfort extension, allowing for quick adjustments to account for wrist swelling in different climates.

Orders are dispatched from Topwatch during normal South African business hours, which are 08:00 to 17:00.
