Sea Dweller Rolex ref. 16660 (nickname: "Triple Six" )

Very rare and collectible. Considered a transitional model as it combines the vintage matte black dial without surrounds on the circular tritium hour markers with a sapphire crystal protecting the dial. This combines great wearability with vintage look and feel.

Differences between Double Red/Big White and the Triple Six:

water resistance doubled to 4.000 feet (1,220 meters)
unidirectional bezel instead of a bi-directional one
new Caliber 3035, (28,800 beats per hour rather than 19,800 bph)
increased shock resistance
quickset date
