Introducing the Rolex Sea-Dweller Deepsea Challenge—a timepiece that redefines the limits of mechanical watchmaking. Designed as the most capable dive watch ever produced by Rolex, this remarkable watch is engineered to withstand the crushing pressures of the deepest parts of the world’s oceans, with an incredible water resistance of 11,000 metres (36,090 feet).
Inspired by the experimental watch that accompanied filmmaker and explorer James Cameron on his historic solo descent to the Mariana Trench, the Deepsea Challenge brings cutting-edge technology into a wearable production model. The 50mm case is crafted from RLX titanium, a premium Grade 5 titanium alloy developed by Rolex, making the watch approximately 30% lighter than it would be in stainless steel while maintaining exceptional strength and corrosion resistance.
Its robust construction features Rolex’s patented Ringlock System, combining a nitrogen-alloyed steel central ring, a 9.5mm-thick sapphire crystal, and a Grade 5 titanium case back to withstand the immense pressures found at extreme ocean depths. Despite its impressive specifications, the Deepsea Challenge remains comfortable thanks to its lightweight construction and the Oyster bracelet equipped with the Glidelock and Fliplock extension systems, allowing easy adjustment over a wetsuit.
Powering the watch is the Rolex Calibre 3230, a COSC-certified Superlative Chronometer movement offering approximately 70 hours of power reserve, outstanding precision, and exceptional reliability. The Chromalight display ensures excellent legibility in complete darkness, while the unidirectional Cerachrom bezel provides precise dive timing with unmatched scratch resistance.

Orders are dispatched from Topwatch during normal South African business hours, which are 08:00 to 17:00.

For our customers, we only accept the lowest cost and safest delivery procedures possible. All packages shipped via Topwatch are fully insured against loss, theft & damage during transit at no extra cost to you.

Due to the valuable nature of Topwatch products, we require a signature from an authorised person for your delivery at your nominated delivery address. Products will be deemed received by you, if accepted by a person at your nominated delivery address.
