Following the creation of the Oyster, the first waterproof wristwatch in the world, in 1926, this was the second major development in the technical understanding of waterproofness. The Submariner was a historical turning point in watchmaking and established the benchmark for divers watches. The Submariner is now waterproof up to 300 metres (1,000 feet).

This timepiece has undergone a thorough inspection of water resistance, accuracy, functionality and condition to determine the level of reconditioning required to meet our strict standards. It has also been referenced against technical documents and manufacturer records where available to ensure authenticity and a clean history.
