Audemars Piquet’s Royal Oak line has more than merited its reputation as a real modern classic. Its octagonal bezel with eight exposed screws, which created a new industry standard, was the first high-end sports watch made of stainless steel. The 41mm diameter case is also only 10.8mm thick and fitted with a stainless steel AP bracelet with AP folding clasp. Powering this masterpiece is APs self winding calibre 2385 comprising of 304 parts, 37 jewels and offering 40 hours of power reserve. The oscillating weight is also crafted from 18ct gold. The timepiece offers a 50m water resistance for peace of mind.
