Baume and Mercier Watches are a superb example of Swiss watch making. The company”s commitment to excellence dates back to 1834 when the history of the company began. The original founders of Baume and Mercier Watches were the Baume family in the small village of Les Bois, in the Swiss Jura. They worked hard at perfecting the art of watch making and proved their dedication when they won the 1893 timing award at the Kew-Garden Observatory in Britain, the pinnacle of this profession.
