Crafted in polished stainless steel, the 46mm case houses a high-contrast dial featuring contrasting chronograph subdials at 3, 6, and 9 o’clock. Surrounding the dial is the legendary bidirectional circular slide-rule bezel—a mechanical “flight computer” capable of computing rate of climb, fuel consumption, average speed, and distance conversions. The dial is protected by a scratch-resistant, glareproofed sapphire crystal for clear viewing in demanding lighting conditions.
Visible through the sapphire crystal exhibition case back is the Breitling Manufacture Caliber 01. This in-house, COSC-chronometer-certified self-winding movement operates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4 Hz) and boasts an impressive 70-hour power reserve.
