The IWC Aquatimer 2000 Edition “35 Years Ocean 2000” IW329101 (2020 limited edition of 350 pieces) is IWC’s ultimate tribute to the legendary 1982 Porsche Design Ocean 2000 — the first titanium dive watch ever made for the German Navy’s combat divers and capable of 2,000 m depth. This modern 46 mm × 16.6 mm bead-blasted titanium beast directly celebrates that milestone with a production run of just 350 units.
The matte black dial with massive luminous indices and hands delivers perfect legibility at any depth, while the patented SafeDive external/internal rotating bezel (operated by the left-side crown) guarantees foolproof unidirectional timing. A bright yellow quarter marker on the bezel and matching yellow seconds hand pay homage to the original 1980s design. Powered by the in-house Calibre 80110 automatic movement with Pellaton winding, ceramic components, soft-iron anti-magnetic cage, and 44-hour reserve, it is built like a submarine.
