Reimagining the classic chronometers produced by the Minerva Manufacture in the 1920s and 30s, the Montblanc 1858 Automatic is an elegant study in vintage military and mountain exploration design. The 40mm case features a combination of polished and satin-brushed finishes, providing a rugged yet sophisticated look. Its centerpiece is the high-contrast dial, which utilizes large Arabic numerals and iconic cathedral hands—a signature of the 1858 collection—ensuring exceptional legibility in all conditions.
