The 901 RS Limited Edition incorporates recycled parts from one of the most sought-after and iconic sports cars ever built – the 1973 Porsche 911 Carrera RS 2.7. The 901 RS even goes a step further, as this particular RS donor car sports an impressive racing pedigree – and features our first ever custom-designed stainless steel bracelet!

The dial of the 901 RS is cut directly from a 1973 Porsche 911 Carrera RS 2.7.

The Porsche 911 Carrera RS 2.7 ("Rennsport") was the top first-generation 911 and marked the very first production street/race 911 widely offered to the public. Only 1.580 were ever produced, but as the car is still considered by many Porschephiles to be the finest 911 ever built, prices on those still around have since skyrocketed, making it one the most sought-after and legendary sports cars ever built.

The 901 RS is the very first timepiece from REC Watches introduced on a stainless steel bracelet. This one-of-a-kind bracelet follows the curvature lines of the 901 case shape – and takes inspiration from the characteristic soft, curving corners of the classic Porsche 911.

Delivery Policy
  • Orders are dispatched from Topwatch during normal South African business hours, which are 08:00 to 17:00.
