At Baselworld 2017, Rolex announced the new Sea-Dweller (Ref. 126600) to celebrate the models 50th anniversary. The Sea-Dweller is one of Rolex's most important products. Rolex has done a phenomenal job in making this watch wearable, due to its nearly perfect proportions. The use of the red writing on the dial contributes to the vintage flare of the watch. In the right lighting the matte black dial gives you a vintage feel while the red just gives that extra pop to make a great dial even more special. The watch is powered by the caliber 3235. This is Rolex's newest movement that features 14 new patents, more anti-magnetic components, a 70 hour power reserve, and a timekeeping set to "Superlative Chronometer" standards of -2/+2 per day. The watch has an amazing 1220 metres water resistance.
