Following on the heels of the hugely successful SLR Concept Chronograph by TAG Heuer Calibre 36-R at Baselworld 2004, and the 2006 and 2007 TAG Heuer SLR Chronographs both in a limited series of 3500 pieces, comes the all new non-limited 2008 TAG Heuer SLR Calibre S Laptimer. A special feature of the TAG Heuer Mercedes Benz SLR chronograph is the internal bi-directional rotating bezel with 60-minute scale. It can be rotated using the secondary crown positioned at 9 o”clock, enabling rapid countdown using the minutes hand. Hands and index markers are provided with luminescent coatings. The gorgeous bezel displays a tachometric scale in silver print on a black PVD-coated surface.
