Tudor has really made an entrance or re-entrance one could say the past decade, especially with their Black Bay range and new In-House Calibre, which definitely moved them out of the shadow of its parent company Rolex. Establishing your own brand and heritage in this day and age is tough beyond explanation, but somehow Tudor has managed just that without trying to be vastly different. This Black Bay P01 is no exception. 42mm satin-finished case with domed sapphire crystal, 12-hour graduated steel bidirectional rotating bezel with stop system for the bidirectional rotating bezel via a mobile end-link at 12 o”clock, and lastly, but definitely most noticeable, the screw-down steel winding crown at 4 o”clock. Elegant, but uncomplicated Matt black dial with hours, minutes, seconds and date display. COSC Certified Manufacture Calibre MT5612 with a power reserve of 70 hours. The bracelet is another fine addition to this model and is a combination of leather and rubber with a satin finished folding clasp for comfort. Make no mistake, this watch thrives under any dive conditions and has a depth rating of 200m.
