For the first time in a Big Pilot, IWC added the highly practical annual calendar complication: three windows at 12 o’clock cleanly display day, date, and month, requiring correction only once a year on March 1st. Power comes from the in-house Calibre 52850 automatic movement — twin barrels, Pellaton winding with ceramic components, and a full 7-day (168-hour) power reserve shown subtly at 3 o’clock. The soft-iron inner cage provides anti-magnetic protection, while the massive propeller-style hands and oversized numerals are coated in generous white Super-LumiNova® for perfect legibility.
