Derived from the compression crown technology, the patented pusher and crown locking system ensures total reliability and security. A one-quarter turn is enough for the water-resistance system to reseal itself as hermetically as a submarine hatch.

The dial rim features a pulsometric scale indicating the heartbeat per minute. Three easy steps: start the chronograph seconds hand, then stop it at the 30th heartbeat and read off the measurement where the hand is pointing on the scale. This function is particularly useful for sports enthusiasts wishing to optimize their sports training by taking account of the upper limits of their cardiac rate. It is indispensable for free-diving, since this discipline specifically involves controlling and reducing one””s pulse rate.
