It features a patented Syloxi hairspring which is made from a composite produced from the antimagnetic materials silicon and silicon oxide. The self-winding Rolex 2236 movement has a power reserve of 55 hours and is both a highly accurate COSC certified chronometer and comes with a Superlative Chronometer designation from Rolex attesting to its even better than COSC specs performance and precision.
