The Rolex Submariner Date Reference 126610LV represents the perfect evolution of the world’s most recognizable divers’ watch. Introduced with an updated 41mm profile, this model features slimmer lugs and a wider Oyster bracelet, offering a more balanced and comfortable fit than its predecessor. The signature aesthetic—a deep black dialcontrasted against a unidirectional green ceramic Cerachrom bezel—has earned it the affectionate nickname “Starbucks” among enthusiasts.
At its technical core, the 126610LV is driven by the Rolex Calibre 3235, a self-winding mechanical movement at the forefront of watchmaking technology. It incorporates the patented Chronergy escapement, made of nickel-phosphorus to be insensitive to magnetic interference, and provides a substantial 70-hour power reserve. The Rolex Submariner remains a true tool watch, featuring a triplock triple waterproofness system and a ChromaLight display for exceptional legibility in the darkest depths of the ocean.
The watch is completed by the iconic three-link Oyster bracelet in 904L Oystersteel. It includes the Rolex Glidelock extension system, allowing divers (and everyday wearers) to adjust the bracelet length by some 20mm in 2mm increments without the use of tools. Whether worn over a diving suit or a tuxedo, the “Starbucks” is a masterclass in versatile luxury.
