This pre-owned Rolex Cosmograph Daytona, reference 116509, is a 40mm 18k white gold chronograph fitted with a striking sunburst blue dial. Introduced in 2016, this reference pairs the Daytona’s motorsport heritage with the weight and finish of a solid gold case, bracelet, and bezel. The white gold bezel features an engraved tachymeter scale, and the dial displays luminous white gold hands and hour markers with Chromalight fill, black chronograph sub-dials, and a minute track around the outer rim.
Powered by the Rolex Calibre 4130, an officially certified chronometer self-winding movement, this Daytona offers column-wheel chronograph functionality across three sub-dials: a 30-minute counter at 3 o’clock, a 12-hour counter at 9 o’clock, and a small seconds hand at 6 o’clock. The case is fitted with a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, a screw-down Triplock crown and chronograph pushers, and is water resistant to 100 metres. The watch is completed with a solid 18k white gold Oyster bracelet and fold-over clasp.
